I’m Irene King’oo, a UX/UI designer from Nairobi, Kenya. My journey into design started with teaching myself UX, which completely changed the direction of my career and ignited a passion for solving problems creatively. I love crafting designs that feel intuitive and make people’s lives easier, always aiming to create experiences that leave a positive impact.

I’ve had the chance to grow my skills through three internships and working alongside freelance developers, which gave me hands-on experience in everything from user research to designing functional, user-friendly interfaces. I also draw a lot of inspiration from my interest in psychology, which helps me understand users on a deeper level and create designs that truly connect with them.

Outside of design, I’m always exploring creative outlets—whether it’s getting lost in a great story, sketching out new ideas, or unwinding with a good show. I’m constantly learning and looking for ways to grow, both personally and professionally, and I’m excited about the challenges and opportunities ahead.
